Wynne Williams< no role > Aged about Twenty Years
on her Oath Says she never was married Rented
House or Paid Taxes Says she has lived as a
hired Yearly Servant with one Mr. Nott at the Chop
House in Butcher Row in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex for One Year and
upwards at the Yearly Wages of Seven Pounds quitted
said Service about Three Months ago since which time
she hath gained no other subsequent Settlement And
further upon her Voluntary Oath Says she is Pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be born
a Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargable to the
said Parish of Saint Clement Danes she being Poor and
unable to maintain the same when born Says that one
James Hunt< no role > a Servant to her said Master is the Father
thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body
some time the latter end of May last and at sevl. different
times afterwards at one of Which times he got her with
Child of the Child or Children of which she is now Pregnant
and that the said James Hunt< no role > and no other person did
beget the same and that he is the real and true Father
thereof.
