to wit Mary Ranger< no role > This name instance is in set 634. This set is in the group(s): MothersCD . Aged about Twenty One Years
on her Oath Says she never was married Rented House paid
Taxes or ever served any Apprenticeship Says she lived as a
hired Yearly Servant with one Mr. Bathgate a Blacksmith
in Milford Lane in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in
the County of Middlesex upwards of Two Years at the Yearly
Wages of Three Pounds or Upwards hath quitted her said
Service upwards of Three Years ago since which time she
hath never gained any or Subsequent Settlement And further
upon her Voluntary Oath Says she is Pregnant with Child or
Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
and to become Chargable to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes
she being Poor and unable to maintain the same when born
Says that One John Tracey< no role > a Journeyman Taylor who lately
lodged at One Fredrick Milham< no role > a Taylor and who kept the
Sign of the Feathers on St. Mary Hill Billingsgate had carnal
Knowledge of her Body some time in the Month of June last
but the Particular day she does not now remember and at sevl.
times afterwards at one of which times he got her with Child
of the Child or Children of which she is now pregnant and that
the said John Tracey< no role > and no other person did beget the same
and that he is the real and true Father thereof
