Susannah Cox< no role > Aged about Twenty Six years on her Oath
Says she never was married Rented House or paid Taxes says she
lived a hired yearly Servant with Richard Down< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Esqr a Banker
in Thread needle Street who soon afterwards removed and
lived on Fish Street Hill , afterwards in Lombard Street and
last in Bartholomew Lane in the Parish of Saint Bartholomew
near the Royal Exchange where this Examinant lived the last Six
Months in all about three years hath quitted her said service
about Seven Months ago and hath not since she quitted the same ever
Rented House paid Taxes or lived a hired yearly Servant for one
year And further on her Voluntary Oath says that on the 19th day
of August last she was delivered of a female Bastard Child in
the House of Mr Warmington in Little Shire Lane in the Parish
of Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster which has
since been Baptized Ann< no role > and that one Thomas Wakeman< no role > a
Servant to her said late Master is the father thereof he having
had Carnal Knowledge of her Body in her said Master house
about the Middle of November last but the Particular Day she does
not now remember and one other time afterwards at one of which
times he got her with Child of the female Bastard Child of which
she was so delivered as aforesaid and that the said Thomas
Wakeman
< no role > and no other Person did beget the same and that he is
the real and true father thereof
