Betty Croker< no role > Aged about Thirty Three Years on her
Oath Says she never was married Rented House paid
Taxes was an Apprentice or lived a hired Yearly Servant
for one Year Says her late Father William Croker< no role > Rented and
lived in a House known by the Name or Sign of the Crown
in Tweezers Alley Water Street in the parish of St. Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex for several Years at the
Yearly Rent of Twelve Pounds and paid all parish Taxes
due for the same and that since her said Fathers Death she
hath never gained any or Subsequent Settlement And further
upon her Voluntary Oath Says she is pregnant with Children
Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or
Bastards and to become Chargable to said Parish of Saint
Clement Danes (she being poor and unable to maintain the
same when born) And further says that one Joseph Hannah< no role >
otherwise Hannam< no role > who lately Kept the George and Ball in
Orchard Street Westmr and who now Lodges at Mr. Bagsters
the Checquers at Charing Cross is the Father thereof he has
had Carnal Knowledge of her Body sometime the latter [..]
of December last but the Particular Day she does not now
remember and at one other time afterwards at one of which
times he got her with Child of the Child or Children of which
she is now pregnant as aforesaid and that the said Joseph
Hanna
< no role > otherwise Hannam< no role > and no other person did be get the
same and that he is the real and true Father thereof
