to wit John Furba< no role > Aged about Forty Years, on his Oath Says
that he lived a hired Yearly Servant with one Mr. Finch a Farmers
in the Parish of West Anvil near Chelmsford in Essex upwards of
Fifteen Months at the Yearly Wages of five Pounds and soon
after quitting his said last mentioned Service viz: about nineteen
Years ago he went and resided in the Parish of Barking in the said
County of Essex , where he intermarried with his late wife
Margaret< no role > (and who has been dead about Seven Years), the Parish
Officers of Barking refusing to let them Start any longer unless the
obtained a Certificate from the said Parish of West Anvil , that
Examinant Applied for such Certificate when the Parish officers
of the said Parish of West anvil granted, this Examinant such
Certificate Accordingly, Since which time he hath not gained
any other subsequent Settlement.
