Margt. Hindmarch< no role > Aged about Twenty Years
on her Oath Says she never was married Rented House
or paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for One
Year Says her Father George Hindmarch < no role > Rented a House
at Newcastle upon Tyne for several Years at the Yearly Rent
of Ten pounds as she believes and died several Years ago
since whose Death she Never gained any Subsequent
Settlement And further upon her Voluntary Oath Says she is
pregnant with Child or Children which is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargable to the
Parish of St. Clement Danes (she being poor and unable to
maintain the same when born) Says that one William
Bowie
< no role > a Footman to Colonol Stevens at Hastings near
Hounslow is the Father thereof he having had Carnal
knowledge of her Body sometime in the Month of March last
but the particular day she does not now remember and
at Several different times afterwards at one of which times
he got her with Child of the Child or Children of which she is
now pregnant And that the said William Bowie< no role > and no
other person did beget the same and that he is the real
and true Father thereof.
