Elizth. Sangster< no role > Aged about Twenty Two Years on her
Oath Says she never was married Rented House was on
Apprentice or lived a hired Yearly Servant for one Year Says her [..] [..]
Rented and lived in a House in Butcher Row Temple Bar [..]
upwards of Twenty Years before his Death and which her
Mother now keeps at the Yearly Rent of fourteen Pounds
And further upon her Voluntary Oath Says she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be born as
Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable to the said [..]
Parish of Saint Clement Danes she being Poor and unable to
maintain the same when born Says that one John Rains< no role >
a Distiller in Oxford Street in Parish of Saint Anns in
the Liberty of Westminster had Carnal Knowledge of her
Body on the Twenty fourth day April last past [..]
to the best of her Knowledge at his the sd. Mr Rains House
and at the five Bells Tavern near the New Church in the [..]
Strand a few Nights afterwards & at no other Place or times
one of which times he got her with Child of the Child or Children
of which she is now pregnant as aforesaid and that the said
John Rains< no role > and no other Person did beg the same and that
he is the real and true Father thereof
