she never was married And that she lived a Yearly Sevt .
with Mr Maitland a Merchant [..] for one Year
at the Yearly Wages of Sixteen Pounds and lived the
last two months of her sd. Service wth. the sd. Mr. Maitlands
Family in Lothbury in London and that she has not
since she quitted that Service(which is upwds. of three
Years ago)Rented Ten pounds a Year paid Parish
Taxes lived a Yearly Servt. for one Year or
otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to
her knowledge or belief And that she was delivered
of a male bastard Child on the 30th. Day of Janry
1746 at Mr Ross's opposite Arundel Strt . in the Strand
in the parish of St Clement Danes in the County of Middx
which has been baptized William< no role > & is likely to
become Chargeable to the sd. Parish St Clemt.
Danes this Examint. being poor and unable to
maintain the same [..] and that John Chard< no role >
a Taylor did beget the said male bastard Child
