she never was married & that on the 9th. Day of January
last she was delivered of a female Bastard Child in the
Parish of St Clemt Danes in the Liberty of Westmr . which
hath been baptized Mary< no role > & is become Chargeable
to the sd. Parish of St Clemt. Danes she being poor &
unable to maintain the same and that John Groves< no role >
late a Servant to Mr. Cooke at No: 161 in the Clemt. Inn
did beget the sd. female bastard Child on her body
the said John Groves< no role > having had carnal knowledge
of this Examinant in April last and at several
other times since at one of which times he got her
with Child of the female Bastard Child of which
she was delivered as aforesd. & that the said John
Groves< no role > & no other person is the true & real father
thereof
