she never was married and that she lived a Yearly Servant
wth. Mr Wm. Bird< no role > Hardwareman in Butcher Row in the Parish of
St Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr . at the Yearly
Wages of £4..10..0 for one Year and quitted her sd. Service
21st Novr. last and further upon her Voluntary Oath
Saith that she is pregnant with Child or Children which is
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the said Parish of St Clement Danes she being poor
and unable to Maintain the Same when born and that
Thomas Bird< no role > is the reputed father of the said bastard Child
or Children the said Thomas Bird< no role > having had carnal
Knowledge of this Examinant in the latter End of May or
beginning of June last and at Several other times Since
at one of which times he got her with Child of the bastard
Child or Children with which she is now pregnant
and that the sd. Thomas Bird< no role > and no other person
is the true & real father thereof
