Voluntary Oath Saith she was delivered of a female bastard
Child on the 13th. Day of Septr. Instant in Clements Lane in
the parish of St. Clemt. Danes within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Middlesex which has been baptized Catherine< no role > and is
likely to become Chargeable to the sd. Parish of St. Clement Danes
she being Poor and unable to maintain the same and that
Mawdley Swift< no role > Apprentice to Mr. Stevens Writing master in
St Clements Lane aforesd. did beget the sd. female bastard Child
on her body the sd. Mawdley Swift< no role > having had carnal
knowledge of this Examinant in the month of December
last and at Sevl. other times since at one of which
times he got her with Child of the said female bastard Child
of which she was delivered as aforesaid and that the said
Mawdley Swift< no role > and us other Person in the true and
real father thereof
