Jas. Levalle< no role > aged about 19 Years upon Oath saith he never
was married and that about three Years ago according to the
best of his Remembrance he lived a Servant with one
Mr Scott at the Kings Arms Alehouse the Corner of Exeter
Street in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the Liberty
of Westmr . and hath quitted his sd. Service upwds. of one Year
Says when he went to Mr Scot to be hired he asked three
pounds a Year but Scot replied he would not give that
Wages but would find him Dyet Washing Lodging and
Cloaths in lieu thereof and under that Agreement he
lived with the sd. Scot about 1 Yr. & 9 months and has
not since rented Ten pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes
lived a Yearly Servant for one Year or otherwise gained
a Settlement in any other place to his knowledge or
belief
