Eliz Armstrong upon Oath saith she is the
Widow of Joseph Armstrong< no role > who dyed abt. 8 yrs. since
and that since the Decease of her said late husband
she lived a Yearly Servant with Messrs. Mathews &
Bernard Apothecarys in Norfolk Street in the Parish
of St Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex at
the Yearly wages of £6 for three Years and upwards
and quitted her said Service at Michas 1748
Says when first she was hired to live with the said
Mr Mathews & Barnard She had two Sons living by her
sd late husband namely Joseph< no role > and William< no role > who were
both then not of their times having Served Seven Years
Apprentiship the one with Mr Seagood a Carpenter
in Bell Alley Grace Church Street the other with
Mr. Sallis a Chairmaker in Easters Court near
Cripplegate Says she has not since Michs. 1748
Rented Ten pounds a Year pd. Parish Taxes lived a
Yearly Servt. for one Year or otherwise gained
a Settlemt. in any other place to her knowledge
or beleif
