Oath saith she never was married and that by
Indenture dated the 2d. Septr. 1738 she was bound
Apprentice by the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the Liberty
of Westmr. and County of Middlesex to Mary the
Wife of Thomas Gillmore< no role > Cordwainer till she should
Attain the Age of Twenty one Years or Marriage
and lived with the sd. Mary Gillmore under the sd.
Indenture upwards of 40 Days in Leather Lane
in the Liberty of Saffron hill Hatton Garden &
Ely Rents in the Parish of St. Andrew in Holborn
above Barrs in the County of Middlesex that her
master & mistress afterwards absconded from here
she was never assigned over to any other Person rented
Ten pounds a Year pd. Parish Taxes lived a Yearly Servt.
for one Yr. or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other
Place to her knowledge or beleif
