Vagrant taken out of the Street the 20th. Day of
August last in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the
County of Middlesex and Liberty of Westmr. upon
her Voluntary Oath saith she is a Singlewoman and was on the sd.
20th. Day of August delivered of a female bastard
Child in near Burlergh Street in the sd. Parish of St.
Clement Danes and is become Chargeable to the
same Parish Says she lived a Yearly Servant
with Mr. Mercer at the Crown Alehouse in Vinegar
Yard in the Parish of St. Martin in the fields in the
sd. Liberty of Westmr. for two Years & upwds. at the
Yearly Wages of Three pounds and hath left
her sd. Service upwds. of one Year Says she has not
since she left the sd. Mr. Marcars Service rented
ten Pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes lived a
Yearly Servant for one Year or otherwise gained
a Settlemt. in any other Place to her knowledge
or belief
