Ann Spicer< no role > aged about 17 Years upon Oath
Saith she is a Singlwoman Says her father
Benjn. Spicer< no role > rents a house of £16 a Year near
Clements Inn Gate in the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the Liberty of Westminster Says
she never was an Apprentice or Yearly Servant
for one Year and further upon her Voluntary
Oath Saith she is pregnant with Child or Children
which is likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
& to become Chargeable to the said Parish she
being Poor and not able to maintain the same
when born Says Edward Barns< no role > a Drawer at
the Ship Tavern in the Butcher Row did beget
the said Child or Children or her Body sometime
in the beginning of May last at an Inn in
Fleet Street where the sd. Edward Barnes< no role > had
Carnal knowledge of her Body several times at
one of which times he got her with Child of the
Bastard Child or Children she is now pregnant
with and that he the sd. Edward Barns< no role > and no
other Person is the true & real Father thereof
