Mary Hughes< no role > upon Oath Saith she never
was married and that she lived a Yearly Servant
with Mr. Jonathan Molton< no role > a Broker for one Year
& upwards at the Yearly Wages of £5 Says that
she lived the last four months of her sd. Service
with the sd. Mr. Molton at Mr. Sarneys in Change
Alley in the Parrish of St. Michael in Cornhill Londn.
Says she has not since she left her sd. Service
rented ten pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes
lived a Yearly Servt. for one Year or otherwise
gained a Settlement in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleif and further upon her
Voluntary Oath Says she is pregnant with
Child or Children which is likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards & to become Chargeable
to the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the Liberty
of Westmr. (where she now liveth) she being
Poor and unable to maintain the same
when born and that Samuel Ireland< no role > of
the sd. Parish of St. Clemt. Danes Victualer as
the reputed Father this Examinant having
formerly lodged in the house of the sd. Mr.
Ireland there he became Acquainted with
