(to wit) Mary Perry< no role > Aged
Sixteen years and upwards upon her Oath
saith that she never wasMarrieMarried
nor did any Act Matter or thing whatsoever
whereby she may have acquired any legal
settlement in her own Rightthat she
herhath heard her late Father James
Perry
< no role > (who died about 15 Months ago)
say that he Rented and Resided in a House
at the bottom of Princes Street in the parish
of St Giles in the Fields in the said County & that
he paid Poor Rate for the same during such
Occupancy at the Annual Rent of £6 which she verily believes to
be true And this Examinant further saith
that she perfectly Remembers living with her
said Father in the said House and seeing the
Officers coming to Collect the Poor Rate and being paid
for the same And this Examinant further
saith she is poor and unable to maintain
herself and that hernever to her knowledge
orbestbelief acquired Subsequent legal
settlement
