Saint Clement Danes

(to wit) Elizabeth Laighton< no role > aged 35
Years or thereabouts upon her Oath
Saith that She was married to
Alexander Laighton< no role > her present Husband
according to the Rights and Ceremonies of
the Church of England by Banns duly
published at the Parish Church
of Kendal in the County of Westmorland
on the 10th. Day of Novr- 1777 that
[..] She has one Child
by her said [..] Husband namely
Margaret< no role > aged Eleven years a thereabout
who is now [..] maintained by this Examinant
and this Examinant further Saith
that her said Husband and this Examinant rented and
lived in a House in Harford [..] Place
Drury Lane in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex
at the Yearly Rent of £25
for upwards of his Weeks and quitted
the same about five Weeks ago
that since then they have not
gained any subsequent Settlement to
the best of this Examinants Knowledge
