to wit Thomas Smith< no role > aged about
40 years upon his Oath saith that about
14 years ago he Intermarried with Esther< no role >
his late Wife at the Parish Church of Saint
James Westmr. that his said Wife has been
dead about Fourteen days that he has Three
Children living vizt. Mary< no role > aged about Ten
years Thomas Amos< no role > aged about Eight years
and Richard Lewis< no role > aged about Four years.
That he this Examinant Rented a House
and Land in the Parish of the Holy Trinity in
the City of Coventry for about Six years at the
Yearly Rent of Eighty Pounds and upwards the
he hath quitted said Premises about Five
Months since which time he has not Rented
any Place of Ten Pounds a year paid Taxes or
done any Act Matter or Thing to gain a
Subsequent Settlement

Sworn this 2nd.
day of Janry. 1789 }
