to wit Edward Mc.Carthy< no role > of No. 7 Clements Lane on
behalf of Catherine Crowley< no role > an Infant of the Age of
5 years or thereabouts which was left at this Exts
House on the 25th. day of June last past Maketh
Oath & Saith that the said Cath: Crowley< no role > is the
illegitimate of Child of one Rebecca Croke< no role > that the said
Rebecca Croke< no role > Swore at the Parish of Saint John at
Wapping in the Coy. of Middx the said illegitimate
Child to one Chas. Crowley< no role > that the Officers of the sd.
Parish took the said Chas< no role > . and bad Security from him
that they allowed to the said Chas< no role > . 1s. Per week to
Nurse & take care of it himself And further this
Ext. Upon his Oath saith that the said Rebecca< no role >
the Mother assd. lived as a hired yearly Servant
with one Andrew Cailey< no role > a Publican in Sir Wm
Warrens Square in the said Parish of Saint John
at Wapping in the Coy. of Middx for 18 Months &
upwards at the yearly Wages of £5 that she had
quitted said Service about 5 years since which time
she never lived as a hired yearly Servant for one year
Rented any House Tent. or Lodging of £10 paid Taxes
or done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
