then to be very ill and asked for some Water to
drink, saying she was very dry, upon which &
gave some Water, which she drank and
sometime afterwards she call'd for a Pint of
Beer which she drank and paid for, and
about 12 o'Clock went to Bed and appeared
to be very low spirited and I saw her into
her Room and she desired me to call her
up about nine o'Clock the nextYesterday
morning and bring her also less of
Peppermint which she had been
ascertained to take in a Morning.
and she told me she had been ill ever
since Christmas with a very bad Cough
that I did not not go up to her yesterday
morning until between her and eleven
and when I went into her Room I found
her lying on her Back upon the Floor
quite

quite dead, and cold, upon which I ran
down Stairs immediately and acquainted
my Fellow Servant with the Circumstance
and Dr. Crookshank who happen'd to be
in the house (as he attends Mr. Davey)
went up Stairs and examined the Body
and being informed that she had has a very
bad Cough a long time, imagined that
she burt some of the Pulminory Blood
Vessels which was the cause of her sudden
death. she was dressed in a black Silk
gown and a Crape Bonet with Ear-Drops and had in
her Pockets one Guinea and an half
in Gold and five Shillings in Silver
which with her CapBarnetSilk Gown
and other things belonging to her Except her Bannet were all
this day in the Presence of the Coroner
