run up Stairs and presently called out to this Depont
and others that the deceased's Throat was cut
upon Which this Deponent immediately ren for
Dr. Seton (who lives in Bridge Street and who came
with this Deponent and examined the Body
and said the deceased was past all Recovery
that soon afterwards a Razor all over blood
was found resting partly within a Haversack
which hung against the Wall close to the Place
whose the deceased [..] lay on the Ground

Fields by Trade a Cordwainer being sworn
deposeth that he has known the deceased above
12 Months last past that in Feby 1790 this
Deponent carried work Vizt. Slutter to Pair of Shoes to the deceased who was
also a Cordwainer , that he cloud one Pain
and the day following he went off with the
remaing 3 pr. and of Stuff and this deponent
never saw or heard any thing of him until
Wednesday Evening last the 12th. Instant
met with him at Mr. Brown house when this Deponent challenged him with the
Depredation he had committed on him and
from that very time he never held up his head
and from that very time he is clearly of Opinion
that he became deceased in his Mind.
