abusive Language to me, in Consequence of
which I took hold of his Collar and pulled
him out of the House into thes Street and
we both fell down the Steps into the
Street and as I was getting up I saw the
deceased Joseph Stock< no role > upon his hands and
Knees on the Ground and he got up and
my brother Robert Wilkie< no role > immediately left
Its and went down Orchard Street towards
my Mother's house and I went with Stock
part of the Way when Stock told me thus
some body had been using my Mother
very ill upon which I left Stock and run
to my Mother's house in Pirkins Rints
and where I came there I saw my Brother
Robert Wilkie< no role > in my Mother's house
breaking the Crockery Ware and throwing
it out of the lower Window, upon which
the said Joseph Stock< no role > (who was then come
thither and I called out for the Watch
and in a few Minutes Several Persons
came and I and some others went into the
house but did not find my Brothers
Robet Wilkie therein as he had gone out
at

at the back door and I have never seen
him since. That as Stock and I were going
from my house towards my Mothers I obe
served some blood on the left side of his
Face and said Joseph Stock< no role > said he had
received a Blow but he could not saw
from or by whom.
