Informations of Witnesses
taken this 17th. May 1799
at the dwelling House of William Allen< no role > the
Sign of the Sun in Curzon Street May Fair in
the Parish of St. George Hanover Square on view
of the Body of Elizabeth Dines< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. then & shire
lying dead, to wit as follow

Parish Locksmith
being sworn, deposeth & saith, that Mr. Langford
called on this Dept yesterday about if past
2 o' Clock to open the Door of the Deced
apprehensive from the Circumstance
of the Door & Wind own being shut wch
was unusual that the would open
the Door upon opening the Door
the was lying on her face her legs
nearest the Door & her head nemly
The Bed-the Door was locked & the
Deced was dressed when he entered the
room she was then quite dead nearly
cold there were no Marks of violence
& from all Circumstance he is included
to be here the deed a
natural Death
by visitation of God
