in the Thirty ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third,
by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith,
and so forth, before

of our said Lord the King for the said City
and Liberty, on View of the Body of Charles Blagge an Infant then and there
lying dead, upon the Oath of the several Jurors whose Names are here under written, and
Seals affixed, good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly chosen, who being then and
there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by
what Means the said

came to h is Death, do upon
their Oath say that the said Charles Blagg on the Second day of John any last being alone
in the Room or Apartment of his Mother situate in
Angel Court
Kings Street St. James's Square
in the
Parish and in the Liberty aforesaid it so happened
that as he the said Charles Bragge was then and
then sitting by the Fire Side, the Appeal of him the said

Accidentally Casually and by Misfortune
took fire, by Reason whereof, & from the Smoke and Flame
arising from the said the He the said Charles Blagge
was then Died there suffocated & burnt of which Suffocation
Burning He the said Charles Blagge at St. George's Hospital within the Liberty
aforesaid did Languish, and
Languishing did live from the said Second day of February
till the Fourth day of February in the year aforesaid on which said day He the said Charles
Bragge at the Hospital aforesaid of the said Suffocation & Burning did die
And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said
Charles Blagge in Manner and by the Means aforesaid Accidentally casually &
by Misfortune came to his Death and not otherwise
IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said Coroner as the said Jurors, have to this Inqusition
set their Hands and Seals the Day, Year, and Place first above written.
