eagerly after this Deponent and desired him to came
to him at Mr Brewsters and meeting him upon
the stair case Mr Lindsey informed him that Mr
Brewster had shot himself and upon this Depo
-nents going into the Drawing Room he found
the deceased lying upon the Sopha with his Head
and reclined and a Pistol in his right hand
and his mouth Bloody, this Deponent felt
the deceased and found him warm but dead,
he then passed his Finger up his mouth and
found a cavity through the roof he then
examined his head and found that the Frontal
Bone of the skull was raised up above the
surface of the rest, which he conceives to have
been occasioned by the Ball from the Pistol
having struck there but had not force enough
to penetrate and this Deponent is of opinion
that was the cause of his Death.

John Foot

The Verdict that Humphry Brewster< no role > was deranged in
his mind and in a fit of Lunacy shot himself with
a Pistol. That the Pistol which was the cause of his
