9 August 1797 at the Dwelling
House of Wm. Hatchett< no role > the Sign
of the shakespear in Eaton parish
of St. George hanover Square on
view of the body ofJames
Edwd Branch< no role > of No 39. Eaton street
being sworn saith that the deced was at work
Yesterday atsomea House belongg to Wm Waring< no role >
Yesterday on the House ofMr
in Pimlico Road the back part of this Dept,
into as by trade
House has a view of part of the said House
he was standing on the steps of the back parr
of his House & hearing a Crash of Glass
turned about & saw the deced as he was
falling. there was no Scaffolding & therefore
the deced must have been on the Gutter.
he immediately run to the Deced & took him
up but he never spoke a person of the
Faculty came but could render no assistance
as he was then dead & said his Neck was
dislocated. This Dept has no reason to
doubt but that it was accidental.
