for help and never rose above the Surface
of the Water again during the Stay of this
Deponent whichofwas about one hour
and soon after he sunk under Water this
sent a Person to his Master Mr. Ganthorpe
No. 26 Little Newport Street to acquaint
him with what had happen'd who came
immediately and in about three hours
afterwards the body of the deceased was
found and conveyed it to the Sign of the Roe
Buck Mill Bank Westminster .

And this Deponent is firmly of Opinion
that he was accidentally drowned in
bathing. That on this Deponents searching of his Pockets
in Presence of the Landlord John Collett< no role > there was a Metal
Watch and six pence in Silver and 3 half penny & two Farthings
in his Pocket which this Deponent delivered to the M [..]
of the deceased
