Informations of Witness taken this 7th. day of
July 1797 in the Parish of St. James Westminster
at the House of Peter Boyd< no role > the Sign of the Coach
and Horses in Marlborough Street before Anthony
Gell
< no role > His Majesty's Coroner for the said City and
Liberty touching the Death of Thomas Dickson< no role >
then and there lying dead as follow, to Wit.

William Watson< no role > of the Kings Arms St. Albans Street being
sworn deposeth that about a quarter before nine o'Clock
last Night his Pot boy came into the House and told him
that he belived a Man was killed by a Cartwheel going
over him having falled from off the Foremost Horse and when this Deponent came into the Street
he saw the Deceased lying on the Footpath and a Person
supporting him and much blood issued out of his Mouth
and Mr. Pott a Surgeon the Corner of Pall Mall
who had been sent for came and upon feeling his Pulse
declared [..] he would be a dead Man in a few Minutes and
recommended it to this Deponent to send for two Chin-
-men to convey him to the Parish Workhouse and this
Deponent asked him if he was obliged to take him into
his house and he said no as he was at the Point of death
but still recommended it to him to send Him to the work house
which was immediately done at which time he appeared to
be dead. this Deponent did take the No. of the Cart but
does not recollect the Number nor does he know to
whom the said Cart and the two Horses did belong.
