being sworn deposeth that she has lived about
a Quarter of a Year with the deceased who were then both in this Right Senses and
his Wife in No. 16 Panton Square ,Rupert Street,that some
time in May last they were both [..] behaved
in a strange manner and were very low
Spirited but from what Cause this Depo-
nent knoweth not and that a Doctor
has frequently attended them both,that
Yesterday in the Afternoon the deceased
was much worse then he had ever
been that a little after nine last Night
this Deponent and her Masters Son aged abit
12 Years were going up Stairs the deceased
saw them as he came out of the Parlour
and said he did not want them so they
went up Stairs & when they were gotten
to the Top of the Stairs they heard her
Mistress ring the Bell whereupon they
went down again and her Mistress bad

her go down Stairs to the Kitchen as her Master
was gown down Stairs and She heard a Noise
below, whereupon this Deponent went down
when She observed the feet of her Master ap-
-peared out of the Water at the Top of the Water
Tub in the Back Kitchen upon which
she [..] ran up Stairs and told her Mistress
what She saw and then she and the Son ran into the Street
called for Assistance and a Person named
Gilbert came and took the deceased out
of the Water Tub, and a Doctor was sent for
who tried Experiments to bring him to life
but without Effect
