[..] on
some of themwent up Stairs directly into the
Roomand Richard Ward< no role > went to [..] the side of
the Red when he found the deceased hanging
as this Deponent was informed
This Deponent further sayeth that the
deceased was a Servant to the Revd Dr.
Frank Son in Law to Mr. Drake who
has been there on a Visit about a
Fortnight during which time she had
observed the deceased to be very low
Spirited but he never gave to any
reason of the Cause of it.

Mr. Drakes being sworn deposeth that
as soon as Eliz. Pink had related what
she had seen he run up Stairs into the
room where he saw the deceased hanging
by his Neck by a leather Thory or Boot
Garter one End of which was fastned round
his Neck and the other fastned [..] round
the Curtain Rod, and being surprized at
such

at Such Sight, he ran down Stairs and informed
[..] Dr. Frank [..] who bid him go up
immediately and cut him down which he
did and Dr. Frank sent for a Surgeon
who was near at hand, and who came directly
and tried every means for his recovery
but without Effect
