2 day of July 1795atin the Parish
of St. James Westminster at Nerots Hotel
in King Street St. James's Square before

for the said City & Liberty two King the
death of Alexander Montgomery

as follows to wit

John Devaley< no role > Servant to the Deceased being
sworn deposith that he has lived as Valet with
the deceased about eight Years and that he was
engaged by him at Brussels at us his Valet
and that whenever the deceased came to England
he always came to Nerot's Hotel and which he
has done between five and six Years last past
that his Master had been at the said Hotel ever
since November last, that he has been very
[..] well in general till within these last five weeks
except almost [..] two or three Month ago he
was seized with a Fitt at the Mount Coffee house
in lower Grosvenor Street and it was some
times (as this Deponent was informed) before he
recovered his senses, that during these last
five Weeks he has been very amount tell and low
spirited and walking about in his Room sighing,
and appeared so different to what he used to be
that
