Informations of Witnesses severally
taken & acknowledged ten twenty worth
day of May 1795 in the thirty fifth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third at the Dwelling House of
John Little< no role > known by the Sign of the Nags
head in orange Court parish of St. Martin in the
field or view of the Body of a new born
female Child then & there lying dead Vizt
John Hibbard< no role > Carnaly Market at Mr Franklyin
being sworn deposeth & saith that Lewas employed
to empty a cesspool on the 27 May 1795 at Mr.
in Coventry Court he had taken about 2 or 3
Tubs of soil & in about the 4th. In they brought
up the said female Child pinned up in
leinen Cloth they opened the saint Cloath Laten
they were satisfied what it wastheyhe pinned
it up again the sd. Child was soon taken
to the Workhouse this dept knows
maken As suspect how the sd. Child
came there or cane to its Death.

James Wilkes< no role > Gent . of No 1 of Coventry Court
being sworn deposeth & saith that he has no
reason to suspect how & by what means the
Sd. Child came into the cesspool. the st Child says
that the Child appeared to him the perfect.
