Informations of Witnesses taken this first day
of April one thousand seven hundred and ninety
five in the Parish ofSt Margret Westminster at
the Dwelling house of John Walton< no role > , the Sign of the
Nags Head Knigtsbridge before Anthony Gell< no role >
his Majesty's Coroner for the said City & Liberty
touching the death of a Woman Name unknown
their and there lying dead , as follow, to wit.

Wm. Jones< no role > assistant to Mr. Jones (his Brother who
is keeper of Hyde Park ) being sworn depopth
that yesterday morning the 31st of March
about 7 o'Clock as he was coming down
by the [..] of the Serpentine River he
saw the Body of a person floating on the
surface of the water about 30 yards from
the water side whereupon he went and
fetched his Drag and threw it from the shore
just beyond the Body and dragged it on those
whom it appeared to be the Body of Woman
in a blank Gown White upon and Hand
kerchief a learn partient and black
warstead stockings, that he did not observe. any
