27th. day of Febry 1795 in the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square at the House of Mr.
Mary Filling the Sign of the Spread Eagle
at the Next Houses Mill Bank Westmr.
before Anthony Gell< no role > his Majesty's
Coroner for the City and Liberty aforesaid
touching the Death of a Woman Name
unknown then and there lying dead , as
follow, to Wit

William Felps< no role > Labouring man at Mr Belchers Gardenir
at the Next Houses being sworn deposeth thatbetween
abot. 11 o'Clock Yesterday Morning (the 26th. instant)
as he was wheeling some Dung from a wharf into
Mr. Belchers Garden Ground he saw the body of
the deceased lying on the Shown as the Tide was
going down whereupon this Deponent with another
person took her out of the Water and laid her on the
wharf and searched her Pockets and found nothing
therein but a piece of a Tin nutmeg grater a small
red and white spotted Pocket handkerchief and a bit
of black Ribland, the had a Cap on her hand bound
round with a purple ribband a black silk short
Cloak a bit of Ribband round her Neck a purple
Linnen Gown and white apron and [..] shett petticant
and black worstead stockings but how where [..] by what
means she came to her death this deponent [..] not
