Workhouse

Alice Harmer< no role > Armagh Mid wife being Sworn
deposeth & saith that she saw the Deced
Hannah Hubbard< no role > abt a fortnight past [..]
she complained much of pain on the left [..]
of her Belly which she saw was produced from
[..] she had received & which She
believed would be the Cause of her Death
the Deced Shewed the part which had
been Kicked & in fuelthe Bruiceappeared to be
about 3 Inches long near one broad,
their kept not being able to deliver
the Deced desired that Dr Cooper might
be called

Ann < no role > Widow a Nurse in the
Lying in Ward of the Workhouse of the
parish of St Clement Danes being sworn
Saith, that the Deced was brot. into the
Sd. Workhouse on 13 Novr. 1794. She was
there big with Child & Sold their
Dept. that She had received a Kick
on the side after Belly & across the thigh
this from one [..] Dept. examined their & found that the Thigh

was very beach the belly was rather turned brown
& yellow the Deced complained greatly of much pain
on the pent where she had been Kicked
& said she believed A would be the Cause
of her Death this Dept attended her
daily from the time of her Coming in
It the House till Sunday the 16 the
day of her delivery the seemed to get
Gradually worse during their time till
In delivery. The Deced Stair in this Ward
till Sunday the 23d & was then
removed to another Ward. this Dept
attended the Deced from her Delivery
to the time of her Death & she has
constantly complained of the pain
in her Side-The died on monday
the 24 Novr. 1794
