Carey Street Surgeon being sworn saith
that he opened the Body of Hannah
Hubbard
< no role > on the 26th. Novr. 1794 who dead on [..] Monday 24 hr thus
thus appeared very great where been Inflamnation
& there was a considerable Quantity of Matter
floating upon the Surface of the Bowells
this Dept did not find any external or
internal Marks of Injury ensuing from any external violence.

this Deponent does not think that any Kick
given to the Deced many days before
her Delivery, (as no external Mark was
left) could have been the Cause
of the Death

Harry Lewis< no role > baker at the Wakhouse
of St. Clemt Danes being sworn deposeth
& saith that Hannah Hubbard< no role > was
brought in a Coach to [..] the said Workhouse
on the 13th Novr. 1794. She was
then very big with Child & Complained
to be in much pain She told this
Dept. that she had received a Kick
from a Man, & believed it was the
Kick which produced so much
pain & that it would he the
Cause of her Death.
