taken this 8th. day of
Octr. 1794 at the House of Mrs. Gough Sign of the
Axe & gate in Downg. Street Parish of St. Margts
Westmr on View of the Body of Wm Queen< no role >
Patrick Hurley< no role > Gunner in the Royal Regiment of Artillery
being sworn deposeth & saith that he & Jeremy Whely< no role >
were both on Guard at the Duke of Richmonds this
Morng at ½ Part 3 o'Clock they were both on the
Bed in the Gard Room over which is the Barracks
where several Privates in the said Regiment At
½ part 2 o'Clock he heard the Door of the
Barrack Room openJeremy Wheley< no role > told him to
set up immediately that he heard a horse this
Dept immediately rose & went out of the guard
room & saw lying at the Door the Decedthis
Dept. asked immediately what brot. him there, the
deced (calling this Dept. by his Name) said of he did
not come to his Assistance immediately he
Should thethisdecedDept immediately helped
him up & he walked with him into the Guard
Room & he sat down upon the Bed This Dept
got some Water & washed the Deced but he bled must
at the housein about ¼ of an hour he laid down upon the
Bed & this Dept & his Comrade rendered him all the
Assistance in their Power Dr Henry was sat fa [..] & came
soon but he said, the Man even so badly wounded & Injured
that no relief, could be administered to him. Dr Henry said
that he had no [..] a Blood Vessel. he died between 5 & 6
O'Clock this Morng.
