being sworn deposeth that onMonthe 5th of
Septr. Instt. abot. 11 in the Forenoon the deceased was
brot. to the said Hospital and the Persons who brot.
him said he had met with a bad Accident near
Croydon that he was a Servant of Lord Lewisham,
that on the preceding Evening the Family had been
out upon a Visit near Croydon and that the
deceased being out with the Family had drank
truly that coming home with them behind the
Coach he had occasion to get down to open
a Gate and in endeavouring to get up behind
the Carriage he fell between the hind Wheel
and the Springs by which means he received a
