Informations of Witnesses taken this 8th
day of Septr. 1794 at the Dwelling House
of Edwd Walker< no role > Sign of the Castle in Marlborough
Court Cavenby Market Parish of St. James Westmr.
touching the Death of James Kennedy< no role >
Edwd. Harper< no role > James Kennedy< no role > of Marlboro' Court aforesd.
being sworn deposeth & saith, that the Deced a Serjt.
in the 19th. Regt. of Foot came to his House with about
[..] more Solders on Tuesday last at this time the
Deced appeared very illthis Dept. did not tell
him again till yesterday when he came with
one of the same Soldiers to his House he then
appeared so ill, that this Dept, only out of
humanity took him into his House to give him
a nights Lodgingthe deced went to Bed
about 4 O' Clock Saturday [..] a Surgeon
saw the Deced yesterday & declared him 10
bad Street he believed him can in unable
the Companion went to slept with the
deced last & went to bed abt. 11 O' Clock
then Dept. got up this Morng between 7 & 8
when the Soldier who has slept with the saw
James Kennedy< no role > called to this Dept. to tell
him that he was deadhe went up directs
& found him accordingly dead & believed him
do have died a natural Death
on if a Decline
