8th. day of August 1794 at the dwelling
House of Joseph Stevenson< no role > being the Angel Inn in Wych Street
Parish of St. Clement Danes on View of the Body of William
Badger
< no role > then & there lying dead.

Jane Matthews< no role > Servant to Mrs. Humphries at the Tap belongg.

being sworn deposeth & saith that the Deced is a master waggeo [..]
& came
of came fromat Portsmouth to this Inn on Tuesday Evening
last this Dept. Saith that the deced hath often been
here before to see her Master when the Deced
came has on Tuesday Evening last she seance
recollected him he looked very ill & wild
His Deponents [..] this tress went to Mr Watkins
an apothecary in any Lane with the Deced
on Tuesday Evening & Mr Watkins has attended
the Deced ever since thir Deponent saith
that she heard several people in the Tap
declare that they thought the Deced appeared
very wild - the deced continued much the
same till Yesterday afternoon about 6 o' Clock
when he went to Bed. this Dept. went in the
Course in the Evening three times up to the
Deced in ader to wech his Eyes the spoke to
him several times he only looked as usual
very wild & never answered her once this
Dept. took the Decd, some wate Smel at park
10 o'Clock same Eveng. this Dept went to the Deced
again at one O'Clock to take him a Draft which
with gt. Difficulty she prevailed on him to take he
center about at times like a makman this Dept.
left him abort 20 minute after 10 o'Clock this Morng
