John Wyatt< no role > , Essex Street , Parish of St. Clement Danes , Surgeon
being sworn, saith that, on examining the head of the deced Thos.
Eaton
< no role > , he found on the back [..] part a trifling wound which
appeared to him, to have been made by a blunt Body, and not by any
sharp Instrument. This Dept. further saith, that, it is possible
the said wound might have been occasioned by a Fall.
upon this Dept's examining the Brain of the deced, he did
not find, or did it appear to him received any Injury
from the said wound: And this Dept. is not of Opinion that
such wound could have caused the immediate Death
of the Deced. This Dept. cannot describe the Death to
any particular Cause, & tho' the wound did not
appear to him to be sufficient to cause immediate
Dissolution yet there have been Coses where any sudden
Surprise or Fright has so affected a person or to produce
Death

(signed) J. Wyatt.

William Budd< no role > of the Globe Tavern , Craver Street
in the Strand being sworn, saith, that the deced, Thos.
Eaton had lived there upwards of two Months, that, near
about a month post the said Thos. Eaton< no role > had a Fit,
but this Dept. does not of his own Knowledge know
that the deced has been subject to Fits or
laboured under any other Indisposition.

(signed) W. Budd.
