Informations of Witnesses taken this
16th. day of April 1793 in the Parish of Saint
James Westminster at the Dwelling house
of William Gardener< no role > the Sign of the Cock in
the Haymarket before Anthony Gell< no role > in
Majesty's Coroner for the City and Liberty
aforesaid, touching the Death of George Shugden< no role >
then and there lying dead as follow.

William Sharp< no role > of No. 65 Haymarket Peruke maker & Hair
dresser being sworn saith That the Deceased who was
a House and Sign Painter had lodged with him between
6 and 7 Weeks and kept regular hours in coming
home between 10 and 11 at Night that on Sunday
Evening last the 14th. Instant the deceased came
to his Lodging about 9 o'Clock and appeared to
be very solar and said he should getup and
go out very early the next Morning as he
had a Job to do in St. Pauls Church Yard
That the next day (Monday) about 12 at Noon
a Mr. Jenkins who was a Friend of the deceased
came to enquire after him and this Deponent
Servant was up to the Deceased Room Door
and found it locked and perceived the Key
in the Lock within, whereupon the said [mark]
