An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at the Dwelling House of Mr. Carpmail in Mount Street Grovenor Square in the Parish of Saint George Hanover , known by the Sign of the Coach & Horses
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Eighteenth day of March 1793 in the thirty third
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Anthony

View of the Body of Joseph Harrington< no role > then and there lying dead, upon

good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duty sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Joseph Harrington< no role > came to
h is Death, do upon their Oath say that the said Joseph Harrington< no role > on the
Seventeenth say of March in the year aforesaid, at the Parish
and in the Liberty aforesaid To Wit at a certain Public
House in Knightsbridge , there called and known by the Sign of
the Queen's-head was then and there eating [..] and in the Company with
three Soldiers It so happened that accidentally, casually, and by
Misfortune a Piece of Meat had lodged and Stuck in the Throat
of him the said Joseph Harrington< no role > , by Means whereof, and on account
of which he the said Joseph Harrington< no role > s then and there suffocated
Of which said Suffocation he the said Joseph Harrington< no role > then & there
instantly deed. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon there Oath aforesaid do say
that the said Joseph Harrington< no role > in Manner and by the means aforesd
accidentally casually, and by Misfortune came to his Death and not
otherwise. In Witness whereof aswell the said Coroner as the said
Jurors have to this Inquisition set their hands and Seals the
Day, Year & Place above written.
