Informations taken this fourth day of August
one thousand seven hundred and ninety two
at the Dwelling house of Thomas Simpson< no role > situate
men the River Thames in the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square touching the Death of
John Henry Simpson< no role > an Infant of the Age of
twenty three months.

David Norton< no role > of Pimlico Butcher being sworn saith
That on Thursday last the second of August instant
about four of the Clock in the Afternoon as he was
coming down the walk from the whin Bridge
leading to House of [..] Thomas Simpson< no role > the Father
of the deceased, two of the said Mr. Simpsons Woman
Servants met him and asked him if he had seen
or met the deceased in his way [..] and he
answered that he had not upon which they desired
him to assist them in looking for him which he
did, and whilst the Servants were looking for
him in one part of Mr. Simpsons Premises
near the Building called the Water Works
Mill this Deponent happened to come to
the Edge of a small simicirculer Canal on
the South side of Mr. Simpsons House [..]
near the Thames where [..] deceased floating in the
Water but the Chief part of the Body was under
the Water Whereupon he immediately stooped down
and lifted the deceased out of the Water and
delivered him to the Nurse who was in quest of
him and that at that time there were no Signs of
Life in him and that son Servants informed
this Deponent
