Informations taken this Tenth day of
March 1792 at he Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of
Westmr. in the County of Midsex upon on
Inquisition touching the Death of
James Elliot< no role > being dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County

James Clements< no role > Collector of [..] burn gate on his
Oath saith That last Night about a Quarter
before seven o'Clock Dept. was standing at
the Turnpike gate and saw the Deced drown
his Cart through and that a Waggon passed
throug before Deced That very soon
after the Waggonr, came to the Gate and informed
Dept. that a Carter was killed by the near wheel
of his own Cart going over him, and that
the Deced fall down in the Road near the
wheel which Accidenatally passed over his
Breast [..] says that the Man was not able to
speak or move himself, Says that the Deced
was carried to the Turn pike where he was
bled, but he bled very Little being dead
before he was brought there as Dept. believes
and believes that he Deced's death was
merely Accidental
