of St. George Hanover Square [..]
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of James Chey [..]
lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County

John Colds< no role > Postilion to the Right Honourable
Lord Rivers on his Oath Smith That [..]
Tuesday Evening last the Twenty [..] ith [..] Instant
Dept. was in Lord Rivers Stable in Carrington
Mus [..] in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
That James Cheyney< no role > the Deced was likewise
in the Stable and rubbing the Horse's H [..]
the Horse (which is a Bay, Coach horse)
Turned about in the Stall with hisT [..] Head
towards the manger That the Deced with
a Cane Struck the Deced across his
Flank four ar five times upon which
the Horse kicked up behind and with
both his hinder feat Struck the Deced
upon his Stomach, and he fell down
in the Stable, That the Deced complained
of his Stomach, got up in about two
Minutes and went to beat the Horse
again with the Cane, and Dept. desired
he would let the Horse alone for fear se [..]
accident might happen Says that the
Deced complained of his Stomach and
was desired to go to M [..] ller the Surgeon to be bled
and Dept. followed him, Says that the have
Dressed the Horse several times that he
was a Quiet Horse, not [..] cons, and never
offered to kick this Dept. That the Horse is
