Informations taken this Ninth day of
august 1791 at the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of John Mc Donald< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County

Richard Basson< no role > Apprentice Mr.
Thomas Bettesmoor< no role > of of alley Waterman
on his Oath saith That on Sunday Evening
last Aust. 7th about Ten o'Clock Dept was in his Boat
upon the River Thames upon Mill
Mcurk, when he saw the Deced
in the River driving down with the tide
Says that he got hold of the Deced's
Cloaths and endeavoured to pull him
to the Shore but was not able, and
therefore dragged the Deced to Hungerford
where he was put ashore and the
Beadles fetched a that in which the
Deced was desired to St. Martins Ban [..] house
Says that he appeared to have been
some days in the Water, but Dept.
observed no Marks of violence upon
the Deced.

man on his oath saith, that on
Sunday Evening last Richard Basson< no role >
and another brought the Deced to
Hungerford and Dept. helped to carry
him to the Shore in the Parish of
