An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign, taken for our sovereign Lord the
King, at the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the twenty Eighth day of June in the Twenty first
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas

< no role > and Thomas Stephen< no role > Good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Robert Osman< no role > came to
his Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Robert Osman not being of
sound Mind Memory and understanding but Lunatick and distracted, on
the Twenty seventh day of June in the Year aforesaid at the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields in the County aforesaid, out of and through a certain
Window in the Lodging Room of the said Robert Osman in the Dwelling House
of Mrs. Drummond situate in New Street upon the stone Pavement in the
said Street did cast and throw himself whereby the said Robert Osman did
then and there receive one mortal Fracture in and upon the back part of
his Head of which said mortal Fracture he the said Robert Osman on
the said Twenty seventh day of June in the Year aforesaid, at the said
Parish of St. George Hanover Square within the Liberty and County
aforesaid did die, And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid
do say, that the said Robert Osman in Manner and by the means
aforesaid not being of sound mind Memory and Understanding but Lunatick
and distracted did kill himself

In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroner as the said William Turner< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors on
the behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in their presence have
to this inquisition set their Hands and Seals the Day Year and place
abovementioned.
